iVMS-4200 Hikvision is a desktop monitoring application that is available on WIndows and Mac machines, which supports the Hikvision CCTV camera, DVR, HD-TVI CCTV camera, IP camera, NVR etc. Major Features of Hikvision iVMS-4200 Desktop Monitoring Applications include: Real-time video live view up to 16 channels; Remote playback of CCTV cameras This suggests it is not Win11 or Edge as such but something in how the NVR handles video streams for the Live View. iVMS 4200 works ok on same machine for live view on multiple cameras and on playback. NVR 7608 with F/W 4.51.0025 (not upgrading given comment on >4.6.xx from others ) and Plugin version is 3.0.7.41. I have a site with HikVision setup with many cameras. I want to give view-only access to 5 particular cameras via Hik-Connect phone app to a particular user. I can setup a user on the NVR who only has permission to view the 5 cameras BUT (1) within Hik-Connect the user can still see the entire list of cameras and their names. Follow the procedure to call the linear scan in the predefined scan range. Step 1 Click (the joystick icon) on the quick settings toolbar of the PTZ camera’s Live View. Step 2 The PTZ control panel displays on the right of the interface. Step 3 Click Linear Scan to start the linear scan and click it again to stop it.

I've got my Hikvision NVR set up today with 3x cameras, but I can't seem to access the camera via it's IP address in my browser. It also doesn't work when clicking the link provided in the NVR configuration menu. Everything else seems to be working great. When I input the cameras IP address on my browser it just times out (192.168.254.2 (or .3/.4))

However, I'm stumped. Maybe I'm just overthinking the whole process, but it doesn't seem to matter what configurations I setup, I can't view my cameras across my LAN. I have attempted configuring my interfaces for #1 and #2 with port forwarding to the appropriate Local and Public IP addresses and ports, but I just can't get it to work. Step 1: Connect the camera to your network. First, connect the camera to your network. There are three ways to connect a PoE based IP camera to a network: 1) Connect using a PoE switch - this is by far the easiest method. You need one cable between the camera and one of the PoE labeled ports on the switch. LMIl.
